Welcome to Wentworth’s Online
Posted on September 15, 2009
With a minor bit of button mashing, the Wentworth Country Club now has a place in the ether for posting group news, events, stories and photos. We’ve been attempting to get some momentum behind a website for some time now, but things like base construction and TFs always manage to get higher priority.
So, now we’ve got a handy little calendar for planning group events and TFs, posting DoubleXP Weekend reminders, and general good stuff. There is a simple roster to show off our fine membership and encourage others to join us for the fun. There is certainly room for more, but as we spend so much time defending the citizens of Paragon it may be awhile. I wonder if there are any webmasters in need of rescue . . .

The excitement is palpable among heroes and villains alike. Issue 16: Power Spectrum is now available across Paragon City and the Rogue Isles for all to make heroic (or villainous) use of! With this much-anticipated update, players can use the all new character creator and customize most of their powers by selecting themes or changing the colors and animations of specific powers.
Whether you feel the need to match your hero’s powers with their bright outfit or want your villain’s powers to look even more nefarious, the palette is yours!
But that is far from being all that Issue 16 has to offer.
Read the full details on the City of Heroes website.

Remembering HeroCon 2008
Posted on September 20, 2009
We’d better dig out pictures from HeroCon 2008 before we come back with a whole new set from this year. Funny how we all spend so much time snapping photos and take so little time to actually do something with them afterwards. I know many are adept at doing creative things with their photo albums online and off, but I have yet to master or even attempt that level of organization. Nevertheless, taking a moment to look back at these photos reminds me of the fun of our first HeroCon and gets me looking forward to this year’s event that much more.
The photos are somewhat reversed in the slideshow. They start with our trip to San Francisco and Pier 39 as we took Vangelus sightseeing after the Con. Just keep watching and you’ll start to see more and more heroes. Enjoy!
